The boffins in the technical department at Torr have been hard at work developing a range of vacuum brazed titanium viewports.
Titanium has some advantages over stainless steel, including lighter weight & being truly non-magnetic, the optics are vacuum brazed into a titanium spinning which is in turn welded into a titanium flange.
The full range will include both sapphire and fused silica options in sizes DN16CF, DN38CF, DN63CF, DN100CF, & DN150CF.
