UK at CERN 2021

Torr Scientific attended a virtual meeting held over 2 days in March.
Organised by the Department for International trade, the Science and Technolgy Facilities Council, & CERN.
The inspiration behind the meeting was to introduce members of CERN to UK businesses and UK businesses to CERN.
The UK currently puts more into the CERN budget than it receives back, so they are encouraging UK businesses to get involved.
A morning of presentations about CERN and the way it operates were followed by individual virtual meetings with members of CERN from both the purchasing and technical departments.
