In addition to offering viewports, Torr Scientific has a range of viewport shutters. Designed to be mounted between the viewport and the chamber flange, the shutter has a flap that can be rotated to cover the vacuum face of the viewport optic. This will protect the viewport optic from a build-up of deposition materials during coating runs. When not in use the flap is rotated down the inside of the mounting port allowing a clear view through the viewport.
