Our General Manager, Pat Brown, represented Torr Scientific in San Francisco, USA, at the SPIE Photonics West exhibition in January 2026.
Torr Scientific exhibited for the second year in a row at the SPIE Photonics West meeting held in January 2026 in San Francisco, USA. SPIE is the international society for optics and photonics, they organise an annual combined conference and exhibition in the Moscone Centre. The event combines five different exhibitions into one, the BiOS Expo, the Photonics West Exhibition, the Quantum West Expo, the new Vision Tech Expo, and the AR | VR | MR Expo.
Torr was based in the Photonics area, on our stand we exhibited a wide range of standard and special products targeted at both the photonics and quantum marketplaces. These included new products such as ion beam sputtered (IBS) coatings, nano-textured viewports, and high-NA quantum cells. The exhibition itself is huge with 1,600 exhibitors and 23,000 visitors from 40 different countries over a 3 day period.
