Torr Scientific offers a wide range of calcium fluoride (CaF2) vacuum viewports in the Conflat® (CF), ISO or KF flange styles. These viewports are constructed from a calcium fluoride optic and they are sealed by a bonding procedure.
Calcium fluoride viewports are well-regarded for their naturally high transmission rates and they can endure repeated bakeouts at 120 °C to achieve ultra-high vacuum (UHV). Calcium fluoride optics offer broadband optical transmission from ultraviolet (UV) to near infrared (IR) and they are widely utilised for a range of applications due to their excellent qualities surrounding no birefringence and low laser absorption.
Additionally, our calcium fluoride viewports are helium leak tested, cleaned and packed to UHV standards on site at Torr Scientific.
