Magneto-optical trap for Lewis & Clark
Torr recently manufactured a special atom trapping chamber for Lewis & Clark college in Portland, Oregon in the USA.
At the time of writing this article, the chamber is waiting to be installed and tested by the atomic physics group who are using ultracold gases to probe exotic quantum phases of matter and many-body spin phases of matter.
We will report on developments in the next edition of our newsletter.
If you need an atom trap chamber, check out our Magneto-optical trap page and send a quote request to our sales team.
