This June we attended the Vacuum Symposium at the STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire. The event is designed around promoting science, technology and engineering, specifically for the vacuum technology industry. It also reached niches within the industry, exploring quantum, metrology and photonics!
These exhibitions are a key place to view our products, on our stand we displayed items including magneto-optical traps, glass cells and anti-reflective coated viewports! A key talking point at the exhibition became our work with the Q-team project (an Innovate UK project), where we explored the use of non-evaporable getter (NEG) coatings on a high surface-area structured face. This is a fantastic event and we were glad to be able to speak with so many attendees about the work we do! Thank you to all who visited our stand!
